Maths Teacher with QTS- Interested in SEND
Location:
East of England, Essex, Brentwood
Salary:
£30000 - £45000 Per annum
Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Mathematics tailored to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Speech, Language, and Communication
- Assess individual student needs and create individualised education plans
- Implement strategies to support students' learning and development in Maths
- Collaborate with other staff members and parents to provide the best possible support for students
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialist knowledge and experience in teaching Mathematics to students with SEND in Speech, Language, and Communication
- Strong understanding of the UK curriculum and assessment processes
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience teaching Mathematics to students with SEND
- Experience in creating and implementing individualised education plans
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent understanding of different learning styles and teaching strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Organisational skills and attention to detail
Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
