We are looking for a positive, proactive and passionate Maths Teacher (ECTs are welcome to apply to), to work in this nurturing and rewaridng special needs school in the Nottinghamshire, Bottesford area (NG13). 

The school have a range of pupils with A&T, ASC, ADHD and SEMH, who require support with their learning in order to reach their full potential. The school have a lower and upper school sites, with the school farm and outdoor learning sites too, as well as a Psychotherapy and Wellbeing department! 

 

 The role involves:

  • Confidently managing behaviour (min of 4-6 pupils per class with TAs present supporting 1:1) and liaising with the TAs supporting pupils.
  • Preparing and delivering lessons that meet the needs of the pupils and differeniated lessons accordingly - support can be provided with this.
  • Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Being a team player 
  • Talking to parents about child's progress when required
  • Liaising with the Therapy and Wellbeing team when required

 

The role is term time only, Monday-Friday 8.30-3.30/4pm (there may be meetings or training to attend till or after 4pm, but we will let you know in advance when this is scheduled for), we suggest eduator's are able to drive and have access to a car at all times but this is not essential to the role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
