Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress to provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Maths

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field

Experience:

Prior experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and principles
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of various abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or Mathematics
  • Experience in using technology to enhance teaching and learning

Working Conditions:

The Maths Teacher will work in a school setting following the academic calendar. The role may require some additional hours for lesson planning and grading outside of regular school hours.
