Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance learning
- Establish a positive and supportive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and student support
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Mathematics or related field
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Maths
Education:
Degree in Mathematics or related field
Experience:
- Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary school level
- Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent understanding of Maths concepts and principles
- Effective classroom management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with Maths specialism
- Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Working Conditions:
The role involves working in a school setting, following the academic calendar. Standard working hours are expected, with occasional additional hours for lesson planning and assessments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
