Position: Mathematics Teacher
Location: Ealing, London

About The Role:

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Strong subject knowledge in mathematics and the ability to teach at various levels.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
  • Passion for fostering students' curiosity and understanding in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons: Create and implement lesson plans that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Assessment and evaluation: Regularly assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Classroom management: Maintain a positive learning environment, encouraging student participation and ensuring classroom discipline.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices.
  • Extra-curricular involvement: Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the broader school community.

Requirements:

 

  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Has or is willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to education and personal growth.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
