Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons to students.
  • Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
  • Utilise various teaching methods to ensure all students understand the concepts.
  • Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level.

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum for mathematics.

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education.
  • Experience with exam preparation and assessment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
