Job Title: Maths SEND Teacher with QTS- Speech, Language, Communication Needs

Location:

East of England, Essex, Brentwood

Salary:

£30000 - £45000 Per annum

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Mathematics tailored to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Speech, Language, and Communication
  • Assess individual student needs and create individualised education plans
  • Implement strategies to support students' learning and development in Maths
  • Collaborate with other staff members and parents to provide the best possible support for students
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialist knowledge and experience in teaching Mathematics to students with SEND in Speech, Language, and Communication
  • Strong understanding of the UK curriculum and assessment processes

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience teaching Mathematics to students with SEND
  • Experience in creating and implementing individualised education plans

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent understanding of different learning styles and teaching strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail
