Protocol Education is actively recruiting a Maths teaching assistant to join our team as soon as possible. Do you have experience working with secondary school students and supporting their learning journey? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dedicated team located in the vibrant borough of Croydon.
Responsibilities:
As an experienced Maths Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students' mathematics education. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the lead teacher in delivering engaging and interactive maths lessons
- Providing tailored one-on-one support to students who require additional help.
- Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and resources
- Conducting small group sessions to reinforce key mathematical concepts.
- Monitoring students' progress and providing feedback to the class teacher.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Mathematics.
- Have at least 2 years of experience working as a Maths Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting.
- Possess a strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to effectively engage and motivate students of diverse abilities.
- Show a high level of professionalism and resilience in challenging situations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
