Job Title: Mathematics Teacher

Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons to students
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments and examinations
- Provide individualised support to students to enhance their understanding of mathematical concepts
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment in the classroom
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding students' academic progress
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Mathematics
- Degree in Mathematics or related field
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level
- Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and educational policies
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
- Organisational skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience using technology in the classroom to enhance learning
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school environment, following the academic calendar. The teacher will be expected to work full-time hours during term time, with additional responsibilities such as parent-teacher meetings and extracurricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
