Job Duties:
- Develop and deliver engaging mathematics lessons to students, incorporating a variety of teaching strategies and resources.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting diversity and inclusivity in all aspects of teaching and learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the mathematics curriculum, sharing best practises and innovative ideas to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
- Engage in continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with advancements in teaching methodologies and technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
- Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level

Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of the mathematics curriculum, with the ability to effectively teach and differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Strong classroom management skills, maintaining a positive and respectful learning environment for all students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with a focus on Mathematics
- Experience integrating technology into mathematics instruction to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a school setting, with the potential for involvement in extracurricular activities.
- Full-time hours, with the potential for additional hours during busy periods.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
