Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to students
  • Utilise effective teaching strategies to engage and enhance student learning
  • Assess and monitor student progress to ensure mastery of mathematical concepts
  • Provide individualised support and feedback to students
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Mathematics curriculum

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Mathematics

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent understanding of Mathematics principles and concepts
  • Superb communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Motivational skills to inspire students
  • Effective organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience utilising technology in the classroom

Working Conditions:

  • Standard work hours in a school setting
  • Interact with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis
  • Possible involvement in extracurricular activities or school events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
