We are a specialist education agency dedicated to placing talented Teaching Assistants in SEND schools across Rotherham. Our partner schools cater to students with autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and complex needs, and they need dedicated and compassionate support staff like you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
✔ Supporting students with additional needs in the classroom, in small groups, or on a one-to-one basis
✔ Assisting teachers in delivering tailored lessons to help students achieve their full potential
✔ Encouraging independence, communication, and social skills development
✔ Helping to manage behaviour and providing emotional and sensory support
✔ Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a positive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in an SEND setting
✅ A passion for working with children and young people with additional needs
✅ Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach to supporting students
✅ Flexibility to adapt to different school environments and student needs
✅ Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning) are desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
