Protocol Education are recruiting for Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work across our Schools in Sheffield as SEND Support with children aged 3 to 19 years. If you are seeking a new challenge and have relevant experience or a relevant degree, this could be the role for you.

About the Role:

We are seeking individuals with initiative and a passion for supporting young people with barriers to learning. The role requires supporting individuals either 1:1 or as classroom support throughout their day, whether this be managing behaviour, supporting completion of assigned work or helping them socialise and overcome social barriers. In some schools, there may be an element of care due to children having profound and multiple learning difficulties - this can be discussed at interview.

The ideal candidate:

- Background in education or a passion and willingless to learn 

- Experience with children either personal or professional

- Experience managing challenging behaviour

- Flexibility to travel to different school settings - many of our schools have more than 1 site

- Background in care is also preferable should you not have worked in education previously

 

Team Teach or Moving and Handling Training is preferred but not required.
