Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Pre-school in WF1

Immediate Start - Up until Christmas 

Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant 

Location: WF1 

Salary: Competitive, based on experience 

Hours: 8:30 – 3:30

 

At this Pre-school & Nursery, we believe that learning happens best through play. We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant who is not just an educator, but a true playmate to our children. Our philosophy is simple: we ask our TAs to engage actively with the children, getting down to their level and using their skills to support learning in a fun and interactive way.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support children's learning through play, focusing on communication and language development.

- Utilise high-quality interactions to enhance children’s experiences, using the ShREC approach.

- Create a nurturing environment where children feel safe to explore and express themselves.

- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and deliver engaging activities.

- Observe and assess children's progress and development.

What We’re Looking For:

- A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.

- Experience working with young children in a pre-school setting.

- A strong understanding of child development and the importance of play in learning.

- The ability to build positive relationships with children and their families.

- Enthusiasm for engaging with children and fostering a love for learning.
