Job Description
Job Duties:
- Supervising and caring for children aged between 0-5 years in a nursery setting
- Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
- Assessing children's development and communicating progress with parents
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment
- Supporting children's emotional and social development
Required Qualifications:
- Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
- Valid DBS check
- Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Education:
- GCSEs in English and Maths
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years education
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a nursery setting
- Experience in planning and delivering activities for young children
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of child development theories
- Ability to work effectively in a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Paediatric First Aid qualification
- SEN training
Working Conditions:
- Work hours may vary, including early mornings and occasional weekends
- Physical ability to supervise and engage with young children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
