Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Practitioner with Desirable Paediatric First Aid

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team in Lewes. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and have experience working in a nursery setting. Additionally, desirable qualifications in paediatric first aid are highly valued for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
  • Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities to support children's learning and development.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment, adhering to health & safety regulations and nursery policies.
  • Support children's physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Keep accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Attend to children's personal care needs with sensitivity and respect.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development.
