Job Duties:
- Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting
- Plan and implement activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children
- Monitor and record children's progress and development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a stimulating and safe environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress
- Follow all policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of children
Required Qualifications:
- Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
- Valid DBS check
- Previous experience working in a nursery setting
Education:
- GCSEs in Maths and English
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with children in a nursery environment
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Paediatric First Aid qualification
- SEN experience
