Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting
  • Plan and implement activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children
  • Monitor and record children's progress and development
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a stimulating and safe environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress
  • Follow all policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of children

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
  • Valid DBS check
  • Previous experience working in a nursery setting

Education:

  • GCSEs in Maths and English

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with children in a nursery environment

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Paediatric First Aid qualification
  • SEN experience

Working Conditions:
