Job Duties:

  • Providing high-quality care and education for children in the nursery setting
  • Planning and delivering engaging activities that support the development of children
  • Creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and play
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Completing accurate and timely records of children's progress and development

Required Qualifications:

Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education

Education:

GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English

Experience:

Prior experience working in a nursery or early years setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and early years curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

First Aid and Safeguarding training certifications

Working Conditions:

This role involves working with children and may require flexibility in working hours to accommodate the needs of the nursery.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
