Job Duties:

  • Providing high-quality care and education for children in the nursery
  • Planning and implementing activities to meet the individual needs of children
  • Working closely with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being of the children
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for children
  • Recording and monitoring children's development and progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
  • Valid DBS check
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training
  • Excellent communication skills

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a nursery setting
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of child development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Paediatric First Aid certificate
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Additional training in child development

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday
  • Temporary role with the potential for permanent placement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
