Job Duties:

  • Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery
  • Support the nursery staff in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for the children
  • Help with feeding, changing, and comforting children as needed
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Paediatric First Aid certificate

Education:

Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification

Experience:

Prior experience working in a nursery setting preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and learning
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional childcare qualifications
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

  • Part-Time hours, temporary position
  • Work in a busy nursery environment
  • May involve lifting and carrying children or equipment
  • Regular interaction with children, parents, and colleagues
