Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality educational activities and lessons for children aged 3-5 years old
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues
  • Create a safe and stimulating learning environment
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure the holistic development of each child
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, development, and any incidents

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training

Education:

Minimum of Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience working in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good organisational and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Paediatric First Aid certificate
  • SEN training

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily indoors in an educational setting
  • Regular interaction with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Possible requirement to attend training sessions or meetings outside of regular working hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
