Job Duties:

  • Plan and implement activities that promote the social, physical, and intellectual development of children
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • Observe and record children's progress and development
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
  • Valid DBS check
  • First Aid certification

Education:

Minimum of Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification

Experience:

Prior experience working in a similar role preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and early years curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional early years education certifications
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

This role involves working with young children in an educational setting. The working hours are part-time, and the candidate must be willing to undergo relevant training and development as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
