Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children
  • Provide a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning
  • Observe, assess, and record each child's progress and development
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Work in partnership with other professionals such as teachers, social workers, and healthcare professionals

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Early Years Education qualification
  • Valid DBS check
  • First Aid certification

Education:

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years Education qualification

Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specialist training in areas such as safeguarding, SEN, or behaviour management

Working Conditions:
