Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and stimulating educational activities for children aged 0-5 years
  • Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and colleagues
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and play
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the setting
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development

Required Qualifications:

Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience working in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Good organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Paediatric First Aid certificate

Working Conditions:

This role involves working with young children in an educational setting, following the EYFS framework. The work is part-time and temporary in nature, with hours agreed upon in advance. The setting is located in Wandsworth, Greater London.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
