Job Duties:

  • Plan and implement a curriculum that meets the individual needs of children
  • Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
  • Observe and assess children's development and progress, and communicate this effectively to parents
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the setting
  • Support children with their personal care needs and promote independence

Required Qualifications:

Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification

Education:

GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English

Experience:

Previous experience working in an early years setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities
  • Good communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an early years setting

Preferred Qualifications:

First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

This role involves working with children in an early years setting, following a set schedule and ensuring the well-being and development of the children under your care.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
