Job Description: Level 2 Nursery Nurse

Location: England, Greater London, Romford

Job Duties:

  • Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years
  • Plan and implement activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Observe and assess children's development and progress
  • Work in partnership with parents and carers
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for children
  • Support children with personal care routines

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
  • Valid DBS check
  • Paediatric First Aid certificate
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework

Education:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Experience of working with children aged 0-5 years

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and learning through play
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Good organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education

Working Conditions:

  • Work hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension
