Job Duties:

  • Plan and implement activities to meet the individual needs of children
  • Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop
  • Observe and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents
  • Work in partnership with parents and other professionals to support children's development
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
  • Adhere to safeguarding and health and safety policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 2 Early Years Educator qualification
  • Valid DBS check
  • First Aid certificate

Education:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

  • Previous experience working in an early years setting
  • Experience implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
  • SENCO qualification

Working Conditions:

  • Part-Time hours, temporary position
  • Work in an early years setting with young children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
