Job Duties:
- Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the early years setting
- Provide a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress and share this information with parents and other professionals as necessary
- Work in partnership with parents to support their child's development
- Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure the well-being of all children
Required Qualifications:
- Level 2 Early Years Educator qualification
- Enhanced DBS check
- First Aid certification
Education:
Relevant qualification in Early Years Education
Experience:
Experience working in an early years setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
- Specialist training in areas such as SEN or Safeguarding
Working Conditions:
This role involves working with young children in an early years setting, following a set curriculum and guidelines. The work is primarily indoors but may involve some outdoor activities. The ability to stand, bend, and lift is required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
