Exciting Opportunity: Supported Learning Lecturer – Cambridge Regional College

The Role:
This is a rewarding position where you’ll teach and lead the Life Skills and Employability Skills programme. Working with small groups of students with severe, moderate, and specific learning needs, you’ll help them achieve their potential through an inclusive and supportive approach.
As a key leader, you will:
- Oversee the teaching, learning, and assessment of students.
- Manage and guide instructors delivering the programme.
- Ensure students progress against their EHCP targets.
- Deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.
About You:
We’re looking for a qualified teacher or FE lecturer with experience supporting students with SEN needs, including SLD, ASD, MLD, and SEMH. You’ll need to be:
- A creative self-starter who designs practical, hands-on learning projects.
- An excellent communicator who collaborates effectively with a team.
- Visionary in delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and mentoring.
Experience with accredited and non-accredited programmes (RARPA) is highly desirable, and specialisms in Business, English, Hospitality, Horticulture, Maths, Retail, or Sport/Leisure will be advantageous.
Qualifications:
- PGCE, DTLLS, or DET.
- Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
- Makaton skills or ASD-related qualifications are a bonus.
