Learning Support Mentor

Are you passionate about helping young people succeed? We’re looking for a dedicated Learning Support Mentor to work in a dynamic secondary school environment, providing tailored support to students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting students in and out of the classroom to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
  • Working one-to-one and in small groups, providing targeted intervention and mentoring.
  • Supporting SEN students with tailored strategies to overcome barriers to learning.
  • Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure every student thrives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people, ideally in an education or mentoring role.
  • An understanding of SEN or a willingness to learn and develop in this area.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • A proactive, patient, and encouraging approach to helping students succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
