Job Title: Learning Support Coordinator
Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, North Yorkshire, Redcar

Job Duties:
- Coordinate and provide support for students with learning needs
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure student success
- Monitor student progress and adjust support strategies as needed
- Organise and facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff and students
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in Special Education or a related field
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the education sector
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of special education practises and resources
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to special education
- Ability to assess student needs and develop appropriate support plans
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Education or related field
- Experience working with students with specific learning disabilities
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily in a school setting, with some off-site visits required
- Full-time hours, with occasional evening or weekend work for events or meetings
- Temporary position with the potential for extension based on performance
