About the Nursery:
The nursery we work closley with provides high-quality nursery education for children aged 6 months to 5 years. With a child-centered approach at its core, the nursery encourages children to follow their interests, explore freely, and build a strong foundation as successful learners from the very start of their education.
The nursery boasts a well-resourced, free-flow environment designed to foster discovery, creativity, and new skills. The experienced and highly qualified team is always on hand to support, extend, and challenge children’s learning, ensuring they feel nurtured and inspired every step of the way.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of children in the nursery. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging, child-led activities.
- Providing tailored support to children on a one-to-one and small group basis.
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
- Encouraging children to explore and revisit experiences that excite and inspire them.
- Supporting children’s social, emotional, and physical development.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, patience, and creativity to the role, along with a strong commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children. They will:
- Have a passion for early years education and child development.
- Hold (or be working towards) a relevant early years qualification (Level 2/3 preferred).
- Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Be adaptable and proactive in supporting children’s individual needs.
- Share the nursery’s commitment to putting children at the heart of the learning experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
