What You'll Be Doing:

Provide 1:1 support to students with SEN in the classroom, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs.

Collaborate with teachers to implement effective Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that are tailored to each student.

Assist in behaviour management, helping students navigate challenges using positive reinforcement techniques.

Create a positive, nurturing environment that encourages student engagement and supports their emotional and social development.

Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to keep everyone informed of each child’s progress.

Foster a sense of inclusion, ensuring every child feels welcomed and supported within the classroom setting.

What We’re Looking For:

Right to work in the UK and a valid DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).

Experience working with students with special educational needs (previous experience preferred, but not essential).

An understanding of different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet students' needs.

Patience, empathy, and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children with SEN.

A team player who enjoys working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
