About the Role
Are you passionate about helping children succeed? Do you have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We're looking for a caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a lovely primary school in Harlow. You’ll be working 1:1 with a child who requires extra support, helping them thrive both academically and socially. This is a full-time role, and we’re looking for someone to start as soon as possible!
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing individual support to a child with special educational needs
- Helping the child with classroom activities and personal care needs
- Encouraging positive behaviour and helping with social and emotional development
- Working closely with the class teacher to tailor the learning experience for the child
- Assisting with any additional support needed during lessons, playtime, and transitions
- Keeping records of the child’s progress and communicating with the SENCO and other staff members

- Experience working with children, especially those with SEN, is a plus!
