Learning Support Assistant – Ashington
Ashington, Northumberland | £83.85 – £90 per day | Full-time & part-time roles available

Are you passionate about supporting students to reach their full potential? We’re seeking Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in mainstream and SEND schools across Ashington. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by providing tailored support to students with SEN, SEMH, and learning difficulties.

The Role:

  • Support students in the classroom, working one-on-one or in small groups.

  • Assist with learning activities, emotional regulation, and social development.

  • Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored support strategies.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.

  • Patience, empathy, and resilience to support students with additional needs.

  • Ability to build rapport and encourage positive engagement.

  • DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
