A mainstream primary school in Dagenham are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with additional needs.

We are looking for an educator with;

Personal experience

Previous work/volunteering in schools

Or an educational setting with children of special educational needs is desirable for this role.

The school require an individual with good organisational skills, ability to remain calm when working under pressure in challenging situations. They are also seeking candidates who can communicate information clearly and listen to students and staff effectively.

This role does require the candidate to hold a valid DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one. Due to children having specific needs it is necessary to have the ability to adapt to individual needs and understand the developmental difficulty. Fulltime availability with temp and perm positions. Permanent positions can offer relevant training opportunities and own career growth opportunities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
