We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team in Northumberland—a county famous for its stunning landscapes, rich history, and tranquil countryside.
About the Role:
As an LSA, you will work closely with students, helping them to achieve their potential by providing targeted support. Your role will be crucial in creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment, working alongside teachers to deliver an engaging and effective education to students of all abilities.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide one-on-one or group support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and adapting resources for individual students.
- Support students with social and emotional development, helping them to build confidence and independence.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing feedback to teachers.
About You:
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting (but not essential).
- A positive, patient, and empathetic attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An understanding of how to support students with additional learning needs is beneficial.
