Learning Support Assistant in Newcastle

Your Responsibilities:
- Support students in their learning, both in class and one-on-one.
- Assist with lesson plans and help students engage with the curriculum in a way that suits their individual needs.
- Provide emotional support to students, helping them build confidence and resilience.
- Work with teachers and other staff to implement tailored learning strategies for students with SEN.
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching techniques to best suit their development.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all students.

- Experience working with children, particularly those with learning difficulties or additional needs, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
