Learning Support Assistant in Newcastle

Do you want to work in a fulfilling and rewarding role? Protocol Education is looking for a Part-Time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work with students in Newcastle schools. If you are passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), this is an ideal opportunity to make a real impact on their educational journey.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support students in their learning, both in class and one-on-one.
  • Assist with lesson plans and help students engage with the curriculum in a way that suits their individual needs.
  • Provide emotional support to students, helping them build confidence and resilience.
  • Work with teachers and other staff to implement tailored learning strategies for students with SEN.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching techniques to best suit their development.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all students.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A compassionate, patient, and nurturing individual who is passionate about helping students thrive.
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with learning difficulties or additional needs, is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
