Do you have a passion for helping young people thrive? Protocol Education is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a fantastic school in Northumberland, supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and helping them achieve their full potential.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide personalized support to students, fostering confidence and independence.
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and classroom activities.
  • Encourage an inclusive and positive learning environment for all pupils.
  • Support students with behavioral, emotional, or cognitive challenges.

What We’re Looking For:

  • ✅ Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
  • A caring and patient approach to supporting students.
  • ️ Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies is an advantage but not essential.
