Position: LSA / TA / Learning Mentor / Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker
Location: Thriving Specialist School in Loughton
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

A specialist school in Braintree, dedicated to supporting students with Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD & SLD), is looking for caring and dedicated individuals to join their team.

About the Role:

  • Engage and Inspire – Work 5 days a week within the school or college provision, supporting students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to boost engagement, interaction, and academic progress.
  • Grow Your Skills – Learn and develop essential LSA skills through hands-on experience in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
  • Family Collaboration – Work closely with parents and caregivers to ensure that the positive steps taken at school continue at home.
  • Build Strong Relationships – Bring a friendly, positive approach to teaching and learning, helping students feel comfortable and motivated each day.

This role is full-time and offers a temp-to-perm opportunity for those looking to build a lasting career in special education!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
