We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Key Stage 2 (KS2) Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our supportive and inclusive primary school in Ealing. If you have a passion for working with children and are eager to make a positive impact on their learning journey, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to individual pupils and small groups in KS2, helping them access the curriculum and succeed in their learning.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to deliver lessons and ensure a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Assist students with varying abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEND), adapting learning resources as needed.
  • Support the emotional, social, and academic development of pupils, fostering a caring and nurturing classroom atmosphere.
  • Help monitor student progress and collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure the best outcomes for every child.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an LSA or in a similar role, preferably in Key Stage 2.
  • A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and well-being.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to helping students with diverse needs.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
