Job Duties:
- Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
- Assist in the implementation of individual education plans
- Support students in accessing the curriculum and learning materials
- Work closely with teachers to provide tailored support to students
- Help students develop independent learning skills
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs in English and Maths
- Experience working with individuals with learning difficulties or disabilities
Education:
Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Experience:
Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of different learning needs and disabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Strong organisational skills
- Patience and empathy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Higher-level qualification in Education or SEN
- Additional training in specific learning difficulties support
Working Conditions:
Work in a classroom environment, supporting students with varied learning needs. Part-time hours with the possibility of flexible scheduling.
