Job Duties:

  • Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Assist in the implementation of individual education plans
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and learning materials
  • Work closely with teachers to provide tailored support to students
  • Help students develop independent learning skills

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Experience working with individuals with learning difficulties or disabilities

Education:

Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Experience:

Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of different learning needs and disabilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Patience and empathy

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Higher-level qualification in Education or SEN
  • Additional training in specific learning difficulties support

Working Conditions:

Work in a classroom environment, supporting students with varied learning needs. Part-time hours with the possibility of flexible scheduling.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
