Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the individual needs of students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as required
- Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
- Maintain accurate records and participate in meetings and professional development activities
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEND in a school setting
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practises in SEND education
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support students with SEND
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily during school hours, with some additional time required for planning and meetings
- Regular interaction with students, parents, colleagues, and external agencies
- Potential for involvement in extracurricular activities and school events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
