Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support their development
  • Create a positive learning environment that promotes student participation and achievement
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the holistic development of students
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other school-related activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong classroom management abilities

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Key Stage 2

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a school setting following term dates and hours
  • Interact with students, colleagues, and parents on a daily basis
  • Possibility of attending evening events or meetings occasionally

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
