Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
  • Create a positive learning environment that promotes academic and personal growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practises
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent-teacher conferences

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience with assessment for learning strategies
