Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
- Create a positive learning environment that promotes academic and personal growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practises
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent-teacher conferences
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Experience with assessment for learning strategies
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with regular school hours
