Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback and support
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong classroom management abilities

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Key Stage 2

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and learning techniques
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Proficiency in using educational technology
  • Effective assessment and feedback practises

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school setting, following term-time schedules, and collaborating with other teaching staff and parents to support students' learning and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
