Job Title: Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the Key Stage 1 curriculum, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Employ effective teaching strategies to develop foundational literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills in young learners.
  • Assess and track students' progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to create a cohesive learning experience for all KS1 students.
  • Nurture a positive and respectful classroom culture that encourages curiosity, independence, and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent primary education qualification.
  • Proven experience in teaching within Key Stage 1.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and pedagogical approaches.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Passion for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for primary school children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
