Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support where needed
- Create a positive learning environment that promotes student participation and achievement
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the holistic development of students
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with Key Stage 1 students
- Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment procedures
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques
- IT skills for incorporating technology into lessons
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Specialist training in SEN or EAL
