Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support where needed
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and other related activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage young learners

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1 students is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 1
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working in a multicultural school environment

Working Conditions:
